What the Professionals say about Eddie Hypolite...
Having spent over 3 decades in the construction industry in the commercial, public and private sector, I became painfully aware of what I believe to be our industry’s biggest short coming. It is the woeful lack of investment in the professional development of the staff and the people who contribute to our high pressure industry.
We work in a high stress, highly competitive and consistently demanding environment, that necessitates as much attention being paid to building people as it does building structures. Eddie Hypolite has proven to be invaluable over the years that I have worked with him, in addressing the need to build and empower staff and teams and tram leaders. His ability to create, mental, emotional and value driven resilience in staff, is second to none. He is highly skilled at refocusing the energy of teams and team leaders, while realigning their focus to the set goals, KPI’s and projected outcomes they are responsible for. His simple, uncomplicated and professional approach to building and empowering people, has become the reason why his expertise is consistently sought after by myself and many others in my industry. Eddie Hypolite is a visionary who has had an important impact on cross-cultural urban community development discussions and initiatives in the UK. Although he has wide consulting and leadership experience Eddie has also made his mark as an amazing story teller with the rare ability to hold his audience's attention as he cleverly unveils important methodologies for improved human engagement and cooperation. I had the pleasure of working with Eddie over the years and appreciate the emotional, practical and advisory support he gave me in the initial discussions surrounding the development of an educational cooperative now in its pilot phase.
It is through such communications that I am reminded that Eddie is a powerful combination of passion, intellect and humility. Dr Val Bernard-Allan, PhD Sociology Lecturer, Dauphine University London, Bracknell & Wokingham College. It was a pleasure to engage Eddie Hypolite over the course of a week to inspire a team of almost 100 leaders, whose responsibility for 2350 staff, 450 volunteers, and 1100 medical practitioners, who together cared for more than 250,000 hospital patients a year. A team of leaders, who themselves serve others daily, were inspired and motivated by Eddies approach, charisma and message. Eddie spoke, as if speaking to each person individually, with fresh and appealing content. His content was packaged in an emotive wrapping, that provided meaning, purpose and direction to listeners.
One test of a leaders communicative abilities is the ongoing influence on listeners after a speaker has left. Three years later, Eddie lives on in 100 leaders memories, minds, hearts and actions. His personality and message remembered, his influence on-going. Cutting through in an era where a person typically processes 20,000 sound bites a day – not only requires intent and hard work but the gift to inspire. A gift to make a difference, obtain traction and leave a legacy. Eddie Hypolite inspirational thinker, communicator, motivator and legacy leaver.
